Instead of doing a drawing and then color it, start with basic shapes 1#, redefine them and sketch a bit 2/3#, draw again and add details 4#

So after 6 years my dog has finally learnt to bark by copying the dogs next door.
What she doesn't realise is the dogs next door are separation-stressed and quite often actually screaming, so now she's just copying this horrendous shrieking noise intermittently.
