The word most famously lives on as part of the name Grey-malkin, which is the name of one of the witches in Macbeth's cat/familiar. A grey cat called Greymalkin or Grimalkin in general was a nefarious folkloric fae cat beast, or stock name for a witch's cat.

I don’t even know what issue this is from, but I love the fact that Laura and Gabby fell asleep reading MACBETH of all things.

Have so incensed that I am reckless what
I do to spite the world.

Tartan/Duncan Macbeth, is the main antagonist of my story.

Tartan has fire abilities and black energy, but he's not human, he's a Pict. Meaning he has more speed, strength and stamina, and a longer lifespan.

Tartan hates lies, because he rather sees people for who they are.

"Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player That struts and frets his hour upon the stage And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury. Signifying nothing."
Shakespeare, Macbeth

Sarah Siddons (née Kemble), born in 1755, was the most famous tragic actress of the eighteenth century. Her portrayal of Lady Macbeth was generally considered to be her finest role, but apparently her own favourite was the part of Queen Catherine in Shakespeare's Henry VIII.
