In light of the going from generic mammal to straight up theropod I decided to doodle some paradox versions of and in the same theme.

Day 1 of - Cynognathus! (Including yours truly for scale) Thanks to for making this cool art challenge :)
Going forward, I’m open to feedback on how faithful my reconstructions are since I am no expert on their life appearance😅

Idk looking at them side by side I prefer original Suicune. Design wise it flows better to me. I think I would like the Paradox form more if it was designed more like a prehistoric mammal than a raptor-thing

technically more of an oc but hys the closest one i got to an active fursona. and hys not even a mammal...lol https://t.co/J0Y4sjdEnK

Does the fact that Suicune used to be a dinosaur-like creature imply that mammals in the Pokémon world are highly-derived diapsids? Or at the very least that dinosaurs split off before synapsids did? https://t.co/KlnDur2TTF

Not to mention that this implies we got a dinosaur looking creature that over time evolved into a mammalian creature

How does this even exist?!
This is outright a dinosaur, not even close to a stem-mammal. This could not be Suicune's ancestor.

Can't deny it looks really cool regardless.

Not only is she in the humanoid group, which is mostly comprised of mammals, Gura is an average of 4"8' tall. this means they're large enough to be— https://t.co/fQEYdj0aIL

Turing are a Xeno-Mammalian species usually compared to humans in terms of their "unremarkability" compared to other aliens, especially since they are much smaller than humans. The species see themselves as the final guardians of their homeworld, usually called "the last garden".
