So, this is not the style I'm going for with this, but I though it was interesting. Now properly UV mapped, I can procedurally paint my procedural islands in world space. Here, I'm just painting the normals back on in blotches, transforming a low poly look to a sculpted clay look

not sure if anyone pointed this out yet but there's 2 models for shalla'tor / ellemayne except they both have the red gem and they both are mapped to the same texture. I could just be missing a texture though. also curious is the prebaked glow isn't present...

Yeah it works with extra shadows! The "zones" of this face are mapped for two tone lighting but you could create more zones and use them for darker shadows/highlights. That would have to be planned out before making the model as you would have to do the topology accordingly

Playing around with vector drawing - a bit more time consuming than bitmapped based drawing, but you can get so precise. Also, I'm in love with Designer.
