yesterday i discovered and lost my bonkers over the fact that krita lets you define your own custom dither patterns to use with gradient maps, and a similar method can be used to make a brush that basically does dither blending instead of alpha blending... how cool is that!!!!

I do some regional maps, mostly battle. Indoor + outdoor scenes. Heavy focus on atmosphere.

so whenever I make OCs, or draw them, I try and play around with gradient maps, different colors, complementary colors until I like them all together! I'm a big fan of more muted palettes with pops of color (like Ezra is nearly 99% dark purple/blue, but the golds/red - ) (3/?)
