Trying out the shadow shape version of nailing down sketches instead of the classic construction method.

Quick study on colour based on @lalalalack 's illustration. I think i did a decent job at recreating it, but i need to figure out a quicker method... it took me a bit too long😅😅😅

Like all VQGAN's it's more interesting as a transformation on an init image than a from scratch generation method.

I tried a new method of shading, the greyscale kind mixed with my traditional method. Lots of kinks to work out, but it was fun to try. Trying to figure out faster ways of coloring since I’m currently unhappy with the speed of my workflow. #art #dragon #oc

@sureailabs @midjourney I used to try to put people in my images, did not work with just prompts so I learned how to use starting images. That led me to video and have now solved this issue as well as using a different way to make video.

@GoblinaJones The animation was drawn on Cels with fountain pens. Later photocopying (xeroxing) became a cost-cutting method.
Finally, markers were used for contouring which is more common and easy to use than fountain pens.
Now when it's digital it's mostly art style.

😅 Frankly, I couldn't quite adopt the "offer" style. Max offer came from @cemhah , thank you mate.
I think I'm going back to the classical collecting method. :)

I used narrative exposure therapy (NET) a lot in my last placement. Part of it involves carefully moving between past and present moment when processing traumatic memories. Different therapies have different names for this back and forth method. Feel free to name in 🧵 below...

Nick and Judy from Zootopia! In a more feral style. I also experimented with how I painted it. It's fun looking, but it took me even longer than my usual method. Regardless, I had fun painting this!

Here’s a quick comparison between using “multiply” to blend color and shading VS the “painting” method. This is why I prefer to use the “painting” method in my work.

Btw guys, if you're trying to mimic the twewy style, they use a greyish purple color in 'multiply' layer to do the shading. The value here isn't exact, but close for the in-game sprites. They use a darker shade for stuff like official art usually, but still the same method.
