Still trying to land my style but mostly @/b0_nesaw and people with styles like theirs inspired how I at least do my outlines

Everything else is a mystery idk

Argali sheep studies! Black outlines are traced from photos, the muscles and bones are freehand

Man I missed realism

I almost forgot to make a portfolio day post.
Hello my name is Emmanuel, I draw using procreate and love working in thick outlines.

I decided to play with some things again--namely minimal outlines and (yet again) a different method for shading hair.

Agreed 100%.

A few months back I did a trace myself, just to see how the original would look upscaled. I’d like to revisit this- maybe omit some black outlines, it’s an amazing sprite

Sketchy and messy outlines. I dunno why but I've found myself enjoying drawing that way whenever I open up MS Paint. Especially with these two drawings https://t.co/9VMwpp9tHR

Added a couple of tony tweaks - the black outlines disperses upwards, and added a shadow to the paint onto the backing. Doesn't make a huge difference until you flip between them but I think it adds a bit of physicality.

Outlines on characters. It makes them look very comic-like and I preferred that style on aot s1 https://t.co/8zrQhCua6e

First Art piece of 2023, tried out thinning my outlines and trying out other effects to bring out more of the texturing. really happy with the results,

also might as well have the hand cannon "canon"

I believe that several pokémon have parts of dark tones, such as the neck, tail and other small details.
Another notable thing is that several have bulging eyes with black outlines.
