I feel like when people "episodic shows" they mostly refer to those that are primarily comedies. When a lot of the best action/drama-related series, tend to favor more one-offs that any casual viewer can jump into; even if they're not starting with the pilot.

I made a 20s version of 30 outfit from the pilot. Here's a comparison between the two decades' silhouettes, the canon design being made by one of the series' artists. I found one of the inspirations (1933) for one of the concepts by Amessicle.

my first concepts for bell was as a mysterious black knight pilot..... sorry that sounds cooler than how she is now but ig i wanted to write her as a non solider so the reader could see more of the civilian world etc... will reuse the mech design somewhere though
