Fun fact, this is one of my most hated Pokémon. The first shiny I ever saw which got away. Years later, a friend playing Emerald ALSO saw a Shiny Silcoon after I told him about mine. He woulda traded it to me but Guess what? Critical Hit!

Hoenn Pokédex Number 9: Swampert

Swamp Thing / Creature from the Black Lagoon turned into a Pokémon: Brilliant! Water/Ground is arguably the best type combo you could ask for. Very appropriate too, sharing it with both box legendaries, Groudon and Kyogre.

I do like 'em. I'd argue Wooper is the better baby axolotl, but his evolutions are top notch.

Even Purrloin's PokéDex 3D model and early TCG cards show its bipedal.

...I will d!e on this hill 'cause so many fans claim that Purrloin was changed in XY ("Pokémon had a rough transition to 3D"), or influenced by the BW episode to parallel TR's Meowth. It was always a freak.
