4 ) I'm always immediately drawn to tricky characters though as I've gotten better I've gravitated more towards zoners and rushdown

Mr.R would be a Mixup

AL G would be a Stance between a Projectile Zoner and a Grappler

Scape would defenetly be a Rushdown

Sac would be a mix between a puppet and a Set up with his drones

S-3 would be a Zoner

And Sean would also be a zoner with his gas

Bekkie is a rushdown, Sylver is a grappler, Amani is a mixture of Mixup and Setup. Bekkie uses dashes and rekkas to get near, Sylver uses her ice and bulk to armour through attacks for grabs, Amani uses her mist to obscure and teleport for left/right and high/low mix.

Mistress - Another Scythe user with a demonic transformation. She's known for debuffing enemies and luring them into their own doom. As for playstyle, probably rushdown. Her gimmick was depending on which demon sigil you choose, her aura would have a different effect

If you really dissect the character design, Sonic at his core is an aggressive rushdown character. When met with an opponent that plays aggressively, the match WILL GO BY QUICKLY. The only thing that forces time-outs is when the opponent decides to camp. Sonic is never the camper

some concept sketches of ryuketsu. she's a going to be a rushdown-focused shoto. her fireball won't go far, she'll have a dive kick, and she will be able to shoot fireballs in the air but only while jumping forward. i think she'll be a lot of fun to play as :)
