V'drin'ssa is a name 'Ssa chose for himself and means 'Sleeping Serpent' in Drow. Being asleep is however a metaphor for his rage, because once he flies off the handle, he's been known to go far too far. Suri's name means 'Scornful bird' ... because he decided he likes birds.
