I'm really bad with words on how I'm feeling rn
moom inspired me to try new stuff
so please take this selection of background studies with mumei
#drawMEI
Been working pretty hard at my studies. Usually study all day on thrusdays, so might do learning streams here and there on those days.
I do have a simple art journal I started @rozencruzart as well to build a daily habit. Example of something I did today. Stream soon hopefully!
More studies except this one looks like crap because it was simply too hard yipee https://t.co/4HQlIr9m07
Referenced Studies
One of the best girls from Senran Kagura, Katsuragi.
No 18 took an hour but given the complexity of the pose, I'll give myself a break on that one. 16 and 17 were 30 mins each again though...

studies, oc art, many announcements in the end!
Referenced Studies
Sabrina from Girls Frontline 2, also known as the cookie bandit.
It's getting worse, 30 mins per sketch and No.15 took nearly an hour... Someone please save me from myself.
Referenced Studies
The Maid Dragon herself.
Aaagh, 30 mins per sketch again!! The last one's face in particular gave me a lot of trouble.
She may be my 2nd fave of the show, but I'm reminded why I don't draw her often. (She's tricky to get right!)
Vtubers! Drop your (SFW) PNGs and I'll draw some of you in liminal spaces :> I want to practice more 🙏
Here's what a few of my studies look like for reference!
Referenced Studies
'Curse Enthusiast who occasionally sells bottled milk' was the practice target today.
Okay, these took around 30 mins each, they were supposed to be 15 but they didn't even come close to done in that time...
I need to take these less seriously.
Referenced Studies
Kaede this time.
The first two took around 20 minutes, while the last was 15. As it turns out, it's a lot easier to crank out a sketch when the character isn't wearing much...
Referenced Studies
Back to basics, found 3 random pics and referenced the poses while putting Anila over the referenced poses.
Around 15 mins per pic.
@fronkus123 Well with the classic design it's slightly different. I was just applying that logic I applied to my modern design and ended up with something more off-model. But this is what my original studies looked like.
As you can see, i made the muzzle a separate piece from the face
@2GHighspeed @ChaomasterZ When I was doing my own studies on how I draw Sonic, I realized that this drawing of him by T0PHATBUDDY was how I wanted him to look. It made me realize that you can break the muzzle curve and still make it look good, depending on the expression, since it gives them more attitude
