My work assignments tend to be more “epic”, although I’ve done some design for children’s tv series too that I can’t share yet haha. At home I am more subtle. The environment is from the Dragon Prince.

Yesterday I did a lil trilogy series in a day, then the great asked me if I was minting them and I was like "hmm guess i will."

So I started a new collection called "subtle.bubble sketchbook 001" added all three, AND HE BOUGHT ALL 3 !!!!

I wonder if there were other media like X-men where if you knew, you knew, even as a kid watching cartoons.

Not that it had to be all subtle. I feel like most of my friend group as a preteen/teen had Vanyel from Magic's Pawn as an out protagonist in epic fantasy in the 90s.

Still experimenting for the next crea. The skull and dismemberment were a bit too lazy. I'm trying to go for something more uncomfortable and subtle.
So I reworked the sculpture, but still not sure. It's weirder, so it's better, I'll see. At least it makes me work on anatomy :)

Akashi and Sayuri’s arcs are very similar, but the main diff is that Sayuri’s path has a more obvious message while Akashi’s path is subtle. u gotta squint to see it. it’s reflective of who they are as characters: Akashi’s subtlety vs Sayuri’s direct approach to things.

I used to hate visible hard-edged paint strokes when trying to blend colours together, but I'd like to think I've gotten the hang of how to make them more subtle.
