I just realized that when I’m choosing a character’s name, I try out names with different numbers of syllables to hear how they sound & fit into the line(s) I’m writing.
Does anyone else do this or something like it? 🤔

She has a physical resemblance to Joshua (same hair colour, similar eye colour), and has syllables from both the Producer and Conductor’s names. As well as this her design blends the Hachiko gang. This ant be coincidence.

Basics of Akkadian & Japanese
- both mix logograms (word signs) & phonetic signs
- both write syllables, not invidual sounds
-…but neither is purely syllabic, often you need two signs for one syllable
- both have signs which can be read in more than one way, depending on context
So then.
This caption plays with the similarity of the 3 parts. « Un des seins » sounds almost exactly « indécent ». But while the second one means « indecent », first one means « one of the breasts ». An in the middle, « descend » sounds exactly like the last two syllables …
