I only started taking drawing seriously around 3 years ago, so I don't have the 2009vs2019 thing going on, but I had lotsa fun throughout the 3 years and I can say that I'm happy I've improved

Also went from: "I'm drawing guys cuz how the hell do I draw girls??" to "so I pretty much only draw girls....how do I draw guys again?" 😂

So this is my add in to the thing. Though the original image is actually from 2006 or 7. This period was when I really cracked down and got super passionate about art. 13 years later and I'm still drawing cute anime shit, despite being classically trained. XD

Some art! Look! I learned how to shade with pencils!

It was hard to find two pictures from each year that were comparable in coloring style that didn't look basically like there was no improvement at all. My digital coloring style hasn't changed much in a decade.
