Ok just to be clear, this is real folklore. Amaterasu, susanowo and tsukuyomi (photos order) are siblings. Amaterasu is the woman. Maya has both Amaterasu and Susanowo. Amaterasu (sun godess) is married with her brother Tsukuyomi (moon god)

Tsukuyomi goes along with susanowo being her sister and with amaterasu whit who is married in the japanese folklore, in Dracula, Maya plays the reincarnation of her beloved, aladdin with genie and Claudia(? Not sure of the name yet but she saves Maya's character i think

I've been playing okami and decided to doodle what I thought Amaterasu would look like. I drew a lot of inspiration from sakuya and the idea that she'd wear robes similar to the flowers she sprouts when running/general nature colors.

Mermaid Amaterasu

Possibly my favorite and the best ps2 I played so far (tied with shadow of the colossus). I wanted to turn her into a sea lion but aí kept her wolf features and replicated the Okami art which I love ❤️
