fun fact. I’ve drawn Graves’ nose like this for a long time. The reason why I draw it in an crooked way like this is because I think Graves has probably had many a broken nose, so I keep it permanently shaped like that because let’s be honest, he probably hasnt ever let it heal.

you mean DQ's Golems? I guess it could be considered a reference, but it's more "Dragon Quest permanently altered Japan's depiction of fantasy tropes", and so even subconsciously an artist might draw similar motifs.
