WIP struggles, this is the part where I get scared and start overthinking, I never quite get why but I also struggle defining shapes/edges properly.
Eri's outfit certainly works - the emergency inflation is going to keep her safe and cozy! But it can be a bit tight around the edges.

The idea came to @AryeomHan when painting the Wilber & Co. strip for GIMP 2.99.10. For the "boom", there is this effect where you shift slightly the color from the line art (you see it well on the 'o's and '!').
This implies the color area has "pretty" edges you could show.

The sword of destiny has two edges. Shiba Club is one of them.

Presenting the fanart I have spent a lot of time and effort in making to this awesome community. This art is inspired by my favorite game and tv series.

My latest one, I like how the sorta blending turned out here because I kind of just waved the airbrush randomly around the chest area and more definitely towards the edges and it got this kinda metallic (imo) effect that I wasn’t even going for but I love it so much! https://t.co/toZvhVA9Fk
I don’t blame the original artist(s) at all— this is a tricky fella!
Keeping the form on exceptionally round characters is really hard since you don’t have many edges to gauge distances and relations from, especially under a deadline.
okin through the ages.. his sharp edges just got rounded and i got a bit more consistent
like...I need to go back to the basics of picking out a basic color palette, and I really gotta remind myself to pick out that warm contrast tone to incorporate along the edges of shadows

in this promo art of Sonic by Satoshi Okano, the lines are thickest on the edges of sonic's fingers and thinnest at the ends of sonic's quills
