THESE TWO.... spiderkid's (who is the spider alien in a host body. also nonverbal) kinda bubbly though they always look like they're spacing out, noah (an angel) has a preppy vibe and is... he's droll, i think that adjective suits him

Watched which wasnt as good as Id hoped but still the ending was pretty fun. The characters were fun but it focused on one i liked the least. Nice animation interesting plot but pacing needed work. Bonus point for pretty boys

I’ve been playing the original FF7 on Switch this weekend and I am having a blast. I had only a surface level knowledge of FF7 when I played remake, so seeing the differences between the two in terms of content and pacing is eye opening. Super stoked to continue!

late af but I realized I tend towards beat pacing(?) and repetition bc I (♥ shortcuts) want the Big Moments to really shine. Everything is compressed beats OR very chopped up. Also love a bleed and tend toward spreads first. And single figure splash page/half page with panels.

Vanilla's preferable as far as the story is concerned. The QoL improvements from Golden are amazing, but the new events break the tone, setting and pacing of the game by constantly removing you from the quiet life in Inaba. Also why'd they oversaturate everything in a fog town?

And varying camera angle, how far the camera is pushed in or out, and panel size to emphasize mood, pacing or emotion.
A sequence of close ups in big panels with small changes feel intense but intimate, and a close up in one big panel has impact, etc etc (2/6)

Pure samurai but seinen. Not only it focuses on fighting styles but philosophies centered around power. While the series might have a slow pacing, Takehiko Inoue's art is amazing. Still some scenes might be too violent
