Amazing to hear that my artwork for @NASA is now up on their walls!! 🙌🚀💥 Working with an array of top scientist from the #EarthScience team at @NASAJPL in Pasadena, this piece portrays the #AtmosphericRiver likened to rivers in the sky 🌊✂️🔥 https://t.co/Ihv2nTyIXr

Bob Barker - X marks the spot.
Bob gets some really atmospheric effects using a limited palette. Evocative stuff, I love 'em. 👍
Hull as you've never seen it before! Stunning artwork by Christopher Knox will soon be on show at @studio11hull.
His chiaroscuro graphite drawings capture the atmospheric beauty of Britain.
The 'Monochrome' exhibition opens on Thursday Jan 27.

@azurezeroart The other reply explained it perfectly, but yes, it's to compensate for the spherical curve of the eye :)
Atmospheric wave response to Tonga eruption, from 4 UTC to 10:50 UTC. Slightly smoothed 10-minute change in GOES-17 band 13 (IR). Looks like some modest filtering would pull out a really clear signal.
Stunning Atlas title Page. Published by Henrico Hondius
The upper part of this title page is devoted to Astronomy: Atlas carrying the earth. And astronomers eager observing, studying and deciphering the riddles of the world.

You can actually start to see the westward propagation due to stratospheric easterlies on one side of the plume where the BTs are warmest (-30 to -50C).
Note colder east side though & this plume portion appears stationary or expanding west, possibly w/ flow below the tropopause.
Ron Lawson is probably Scotland's most popular contemporary landscape artist. His work is very distinctive and I love the beauty that he brings to what are essentially very stark scenes. Often isolated cottages; I liked the inclusion of blackface sheep here.
So atmospheric.
Good morning! Here is a selection of shots from an atmospheric winter's afternoon, spent at @ClaremontNT yesterday. I hope you all have a super Saturday.🦢🌲📸

@hindasavra You're almost there!
For me I listen to podcasts or playlists I've made on Spotify. Sometimes I listen to an audiobook or two. I've been listening to a lot of ambience, atmospheric music like something by Phoenix Glendinning, Bonnie Grace, or Marcin Przybyłowicz 🎶
