No hand animated parts for this one, just two primary handpainted matcap textures, one for the body and another for the leaves. The leaves I should have spent a bit more time doing but I was trying to get it wrapped in a single sitting haha 😅 here's the materials on some spheres

Noticed something cool in my distance field test spheres today. Either the lossy compression (float > byte) or meshing process creates a hex-like surface perturbation like soap bubbles crowding together. Tweaked normal colours and drew some hexes to make effect more visible.

This weapon was the first thing on my mind when I started creating Blowguns. I also feel it would be great to have normal bubbles deal 1 point of damage, floating around the battlefield while the charged ones explode into powerful spheres of death.
