If one day someone wants to reuse a Digimon, they could simply read the profile and know enough about that Digimon. That is why a lot of popular Digimon ends up just being remakes of something that happened in the anime, because their backstory was made with that in mind.
Mi conclusión con todo esto es que sin importar tus gustos, si llegaras a tener un compañero digimon, este mismo quizás no sea elegido por ti al 100% sino que habrían otros factores para que la conexión entre ambos sea real.
