Possibly helpful artist tip: If you hide the outline and the filler color and can still tell what the drawing is and where the edges are, you've shaded correctly

It's a surreal thing, emulating your own past style. I really had such a bold outline in my older works. Now I think I've found a nice blend between the thicker consistent line and the thinner, sharper edges, but it's weird to ref your own work.

New update is here, with characters like Longclaw and future Sonic content. Since Frontier was announced a year ago, its space has been a blank spot. Marketing has been vague on anything beyond the story outline and new character, Sage, so it was trickier to imagine.
