I find it interesting that the Gorosei still refer to it as the "Gomu Gomu no Mi" and simply refer to the Hito part as "another name". Luffy seems to possess Paramecia awakening (affects environment) and Zoan awakening (recovery after defeat), so the fruit may count as both types
