Here are some curated WIP from of the madness that is my "process". That said, this time round I tried starting with a different approach more akin to 3D rendering... But I caved in at the end: flattened my layers and slapped brushstrokes willy nilly :/ Got a lot more to learn!

More information on Bloodscales incoming...
so when Bloodscales get the scent of large amount of blood, it can threaten a complete shutdown of any sentience, turning them into frenzied beasts. They contort their appearance, and lose control. Their shrieks akin to a banshee.

I have the urge to draw something akin to this panel (from ’s Pokemon Go comic outtakes) with Miles because I LOVE jokes like this
Some of my other favs are “Will you speak for us? ...apologies” (from @/Warlordofnoodle’s series No Evil) and the rest of this strip-

I really wanted to give it some bug-esque inner jaws, but they'd be useless for chewing given the shape of the snout. Figured it'd be more akin to an iguana with tiny serrated teeth.

Wanted to take a crack at an older Taliyah, around her early 20s!!!

I gave her some Ionian flare in her hair accessories and swapped her purple motif for a jade-like color. Also changed her rock armor to something akin to stitched fabric, like from The Climb animation.

50/365. The claymore. A large 2-handed broadsword, iconic to Scotland. I think I read somewhere that the grip is akin to holding a baseball bat. The right hand points the blade. And the left gives it power.

Finished both and Omega Men by today.

The underlying takeaway I think is something akin to:

Until we truly recognise ourselves, both our triumphs and our flaws - the future of our soul remains in jeopardy. Thus the scars of our past will open as new wounds.

Sprites for Onomatopoeia's upcoming VN, TBA :)
They wanted something akin to a character generator, so we designed multiple options for each base (Children, Adults, and Elders).
The file was completely editable for this project, so the colors can be fully modified.

I did a simple background akin to the BGs of the previous versions, but I did want to do something else with it. TTwTT Maybe next year I'll think of something better to do with the BG! This is the fourth redraw of this piece. :0 I'll post all four in a minute!

You're akin to the radiant jewel that refuses to melt within the merciless ocean. "My love is yours."

It's a little difficult to explain what exactly these guys are, but unlike most of my somewhat malevolent creatures, they are more akin to the guarians.

To put it somewhat vaguely, they understand you.
