smol angry goyl do PÖNCH!!! (ft. cephalopod pewps) #wip #dndoc #dopemonkshit
This is a sorta new OC, who shall be called Lord.
Lord is apparently the leader of a race of cephalopodan alien dreamers, Lord also started as a background piece of a stage in SSBU's Stage Builder.
I've had these on me for a little bit, but here are 2 dino girl ref sheets by the wonderful @StoneColb94 !
Liv being part Pachycephalosaurus, and Hanyuu part Oviraptor.

How It Started (Aphetoceras, 2018) vs. How It's Going (Plectoceras, 2021)
Both nautiloid cephalopods from the Ordovician. The nearly matching color schemes was unintentional

Sperm Whale (Physeter macrocephalus) eating a Blue Shark (Prionace glauca)
Aside from squids and octopus, sperm whale are known to take large fish like sharks, such as blue, mako, or sleeper shark as part of their diet
Spending my day working on a #paleoart commission of darwinopteran pterosaurs - critters like Darwinopterus, Kunpengopterus, and Cuspicephalus (below). These are fun animals to draw thanks to having all the best bits of pterosaur anatomy: big heads, big crests, and long tails.
Shading on this came out incredibly messy, but regardless, have a Blacephalon

Admirable Octavia (Cecaelia)
This admiral is admirable, using her cephalopod intelligence and pure muscles with refined grace and control. She can defeat any opponent with just 2 limbs. You know things get serious if she starts using more...
Then there’s Ida, the bisexual demigirl Dragon Queen. She’s actually been bi for a long time, but hates that she has to correct many cephalopods that even tho she’s married to Bobert, she’s bi. Bobert is pan himself, and he hates correcting them as well, it can get annoying.
Group formation in #cephalopods is rare and is mainly seen in squid species or associated with mating. However, we have shown that sub-adult European cuttlefish exhibit #shoaling in groups of up to 30 individuals along the South coast of the UK. 🌍
