@AdamisFox @CrafterArmys It's not comparing apples and oranges. It's a reasonable comparison. Uekawa still emotes and shows expressions with his style. She thinks his style still renders the characters (Amy in this case) on model and cute. Additionally, his style is the official "default" and the model.

The book I was comparing the main character's kitchen adventure to was "The Stories Julian Tells" by Ann Cameron, illustrated here by @paulozelinsky in the Random House Book of Humor For Children (1988).
Since Bae is also playing Jump King, I've refined Baelz's Jump King sprite.
Although this is a small piece of art, I am still happy to see my improvement on shading and detail comparing to my art from 3 months ago!
