This creature design from my upcoming "Flowerpunk" webcomic.

This is a nocturnaphrax, a creature that represents corporate greed in this universe. I had a lot of different complex elements of symbolism to balance and I think after about 10 redesigns, I finally nailed it.

i think these two have the most crazyass design choices ever u dont just wake up and decide to incorporate freudian psychology and frida kahlo into your anime siblings. if u invert their colours u get the other sibling which is so cool

Follow-up thoughts from my other thread. Last year I did these 3 illustrations for a campaign in the MTA. $2,500 for ~a day of work. Not my style at all but can I do it? For sure. This is kinda what I meant the other day with being flexible and working w corporate clients.
