I used a watercolor brush I’m still refining and the default Turpentine brush - it was fun swirling colors with the Turpentine brush!🎨

I sometimes like to Get 1 part of the scene closer to completion and base everything else around that, just so when I am refining the model I keep everything at a consistent detail 🤷‍♀️Not sure why but it helps me, mainly when I am using someone elses concept 🤷‍♀️

I've gotten way looser with my sketches to save on time! With paintings like this one I immediately go into color blocking and start refining shapes, usually on 1-3 layers. The sketch is only a guideline to get the composition nailed down.
