@japaneseswitch Sakurai states this it was difficult for them to join Smash. While Banjo and Kazooie was originally an N64 game, and their inclusion should've been a natural one, they are now owned by Microsoft.

9. NAMCO's NIGHTMARE
Once again I don't know much about Soul Calibur but Nightmare seems to be it's most iconic character and while being a swordfighter, could bring a lot of demonic potential to Smash. I just really like his design alright, this is all I could come up with lmao
@ExpandDong15 @BringBackBanjoK Conker's chances got up by his friend Banjo, he opens the door for our lovick squirrel even Phil said he would love to see more Rare characters to join smash. We need our true friend reunion between, Diddy, Banjo & Conker, I hope it happens.
