My favorite visual novel, Umineko, discusses two authors theories of mystery stories. I read all of one of their books (Knox) stories so decided to buy one by the other (SS Van Dine). Sadly Audible only has radio adaptations of his stuff (in English), I hope it's not too pulp!

BRAM STOKER's classic Gothic horror novel DRACULA was published 122 years ago today. Although the book didn't perform well for Stoker (who ended up dying poor) it spawned several adaptations & literally started the vampire movie genre w the @UniversalHorror 1931 cult DRACULA.
This film is just gonna be added to the hundreds of horrible live action adaptations of animation classics. They’re unoriginal, lesser versions of stories told already told on a higher artistic platform.
Also forgot to mention that I preordered RWBY After the Fall today as well. I currently own all manga adaptations of RWBY, so I’ll be happy to have this story about one of my favourite teams on my shelf :)
I really liked #DetectivePikacku and I hope this sets the bar for upcoming videogame adaptations.

@_AlexHirsch It's really nice to see, If they can make a good movie out of a childhood classic (I hope Detective Pikachu will be in this category),and not messing around. But original ideas (yeah, for 3rd Time...) like Toy Story, Shrek, they are good in their own. Or adaptations......⬇⬇⬇

one of the funniest things about the jojo anime adaptations is part 4 already starting out with hazamada in his tiny, comical form so these shots from the manga where he's supposed to look creepy just don't look right anymore
