I'm not good with drawing realistic character, so I looked up many references. Griffith will always be one of my favourite characters...and yes, he is the reason why I love white-haired boy.

Berserk - Guts

With Kentaro Miura's passing, I felt compelled to create a piece in tribute to the someone who created something that left such an impact on me.

What an amazing story, and what an accomplishment.

Rest easy man, yours is a legacy that will last

RIP Kentaro Miura, the manga was truly a work of sublime art that changed my perception!

The characters of Guts and Griffith were deep and multi-faceted. As a tribute, I made 4 optical illusions that can be looked at from any angle; you can see both protagonists in them

Knowing we will never see the end of fills me with pain.
We lost one of the best authors who ever drew manga and this is just a small tribute from a way less experienced artists that loved his works with all his heart.

Rest in Peace

''Man takes up the sword in order to shield the small wound in his heart sustained in a far-off time beyond remembrance.

Man wields the sword so that he may die smiling in some far-off time beyond perception''

Rest in Peace, Kentaro-sensei.

Outra coisa que eu me inspirei no trabalho do Kentaro Miura foi no uso de pinturas clássicas pra criação de páginas.

Surrealismo e mangá tem tudo em comum.

You’re right, we are mortal and fragile. But even if we are tortured or wounded, we’ll fight to survive.
