The thing I liked most about Strain were the mechs that Ebikawa designed. Though there isn't much of them, They were visually appealing to me and the CGI fights actually looks really good for 2006.

They kinda give me some Orbital frame vibes with how they fight.

Mine are arguably more powersuits than mechs. The pilot's limbs go into the suit's limbs but don't fill them entirely, instead they have interfaces in the hands and feeet that the pilot interacts with by touch. https://t.co/nRQFlA79Hu

So aside from vidya gaems, I also enjoy playing TTRPGs. I regularly play DnD, but a while ago I started a campaign in a system called Lancer, lots of mecha and explosions. These fellas here are the mechs used by the players, made using . Pretty neat, huh?

I like the mechs in Soukou no Strain of what I've seen.

Pretty sure ebikawa did these, cause they remind me of his vandread designs in style with how colorful and alien like they are.

There isn't too many new robots introduced, but the ones that are there are really cool

Ark on is already Great just for being based on Ialdabaoth, who's one of my favorite SRW mechs, and having a human sized version of it kicks ass.

i don't consider myself much of a mecha guy, but i really dig mechs that are more ergonomically designed as opposed to some of the crazier stuff you sometimes see
