I would say the DJD and its members but it's kinda hard to put a character with an electric chair alt mode in a kids show, so I would settle for their Minicon Medic Nickel (I really want an official toy and some more mainstream popularity)

Mignola did some great art on the Hulk. It was more 'mainstream' that a lot of his later work which was highly stylized. Shame we only got a few issues before Bryne leapt on and leapt off half a year later.

Partially why su is so important is that it's pretty groundbreaking for female representation! The character designs for the females and males are treated equally. This is rare for a mainstream cartoon. Variety is good!
