Exhausting hiatus (of which I got back last week but didn't post anything) but I got a bit of that drawer's block. so instead of new stuff I'll just work on improving myself. So I'm starting by removing the black outlines on my works. a small but noticeable change.

Here is a better look at the animals, I had a lot more but after sitting on it for a day, I decided to make them BIGGER. Zoomed out, they're hard to see. Folio also wanted a outline on them.
With more and more manga going digital, this isnt the case as much anymore, but traditionally different types of pens were used to draw manga. Which is why you can see a difference in those light, delicate details as opposed to bold, thick outlines. You gotta train to use them

This is interesting. Both of these were from the same outline I drew back in July. Today, I stripped the colours and shading from the original and re-did it to compare the two and see how I’ve improved over nearly 3 weeks of practice and learning to draw digitally.
