This craft can be simplified for younger artists, but I've designed it so it's pretty anatomically accurate. You don't HAVE TO cut out every fenestration, or bend together a domed brain case, but if you do, you'll learn a lot about these bird-like dinos along the way.
Doing a collection of not-entirely-scientifically/anatomically-accurate dinosaurs just to have fun with. Dino 1: Therizinosaurus!
Dinosaur #1: Therizinosaurus!
I should preface that not all of these are gonna be perfectly scientifically/anatomically accurate because I just kinda wanna have fun with it. #myart #dinosaurs
it's easy to take two anatomical drawings and point to clear improvement, but for things like stupid comics, cartoon animals, how do you quantify improvement? if you can look at a jokey meme pic from 10 years ago, and it still makes people laugh, is it Bad Old Art
@milkcryptid Thank you for the thread ><

Here are some of my fav.. Not anatomically correct or anything. I just love it ><

So this is definitely not anatomically correct, and rough as hell, but the idea was to have Eira hanging over a completely overwhelmed Lex, giant boobs on one shoulder, arm reaching around the other to pull him off. I can't wait to get good enough that I can draw this *right*!
Question: Where did the trend for large scutes on the maxilla of tyrannosaurids come from? Wondering if there's any anatomical evidence for it as I complete this piece #SciArt
upgraded from the scribble I'd been using that was like 256px to 2048px of lovingly handpainted reasonably anatomically correct gnarliness
Research of Leonardo Da Vinci's Circa 1517 "Portrait of "Francis I at 23 yrs"at Chateau Clos Luce France-Note Three Dimensional effect & modelling excellence of the Ear which many artists had difficulty depicting, yet not Leonardo with his unique Anatomical research of Bodies 🧑🎨
@angrymaxfuryst It’s a lousy reference I am sorry I don’t even have an outfit for him but his names Blue and he’s basically just a human with wings anatomically 😭
He’s introverted and mysterious, quiet but generally kind and gentle.
'The stone tools and articles of personal adornment appear to have been produced by Denisovans. This conclusion is consistent with a complete lack of any fossil remains from anatomically modern humans in the Altai Paleolithic'. https://t.co/AcdSVSi7m8

One day my sketches won't be non-anatomical cartoon-ish disaster so distant from the final result, but it was way longer than a month since last big art and it is time for another WIP.
It will be better, i promise.
