Starts of as a generic sci-fi pastiche kids movie, but then there's quite a big twist that I didn't see coming.
Would I have enjoyed if it wasn't based off an existing IP? Maybe not. But I ended up having a lot of fun, the animation is great & I love the designs

Random thought but, I miss being called cute nicknames when I was in a relationship. I got the generic "sweetie, and hun" here and there but I've always wanted to be called some stupid things like:

Bambi

i think the aesthetic for sonic frontiers is fine for what they’re going for, even if it looks kinda generic, but if they wanted to pursue a more whimsical/typically “sonic” aesthetic, some good places to start would be sonic CD’s FMV cutscenes and the OVA.
my sona for the longest of time was the little spider dude u see on the right but i wanted to try and actually make a real design.
