later i took out the red invisigrid to replace it with a grey one and then dropped the white noise screen in like oliver's original map had. those tiles are real busy, and don't line up well cos they're meant as singles. rotate to fix! (4 lyrs for area)

Like most fighting games, a lot of background elements and such in Budokai 2 are just billboard textures that rotate to always face the player.
