I make a hard HARD line between my Sona and self-inserts. The 'this is me' does not cross to 'this is me in this setting.'
My first like, five Sonas turned into OCs because STORY HAPPENS.

My absolute oldest OC was the very first version of Sabe Flaetor! (Art by queersoda, as a commission~)
He was a daughter of Zamorak then and now he's a son of Zamorak, and he's always been a self-insert of some kind, but I love him and I keep referring to his dad as my dad. :p
