I had a lot of ideas with this concept so I did actually make 2 GIFs. I wasnt sure which one was better so its a 2 for 1 commission!The second GIF was something extra I did to experiment with a different animation style and shading techniques.

Spent all day on some commission work. Worked out a detailed sketch for the design of one character and then worked on refining my realistic render techniques. I think i figured out a solid approach to this. So hopefully i can start making more of these faster

Just in case you’re curious about jim, he’s Pere Ribera. He has been the master I could ever had since he always advocated to let people be creative as they wished and ecouraged his students a lot while at same time teached them basic lessons to improve their techniques.
