Noodling on foliage looks for The Flock game idea from a while back. Zeroing in on something that is a mix of graphical and painterly. Also, Speedtree is fun to mess around with!
@artbyskylah Hi peeps. I'm Polish leaving in the UK. I'm more of a visual storyteller. My pregnancy diaries (dark autobiographical satire) will be on sale soon, and am about to finish another book in a completely different style. check out @moribreeze @GaiaBordicchia @Ikorus92 @JanBajtlik

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY: Koren Shadmi’s The Twilight Man: Rod Serling and the Birth of Television. Biographical graphic novel of a writer whose works influenced countless writers, including myself. 11-1-19.
Two William Hodges oil sketches of Tahiti, at Christie’s Topographical sale today. Vaitepiha Bay and Matavie Bay. Both painted during Cook’s 2nd voyage 1772-5. Here Hodges captured expansive skies & brilliant light of tropics, but before classicising additions in exhibited works.
here's a screenshot of the picture, hopefully without weird Twitter graphical error cutoff this time
I don't know if I ever posted this. This was the character I used for a friend group MotW campaign. She taught me an important lesson of asking where geographically we're located because turns out it was a cold area and I was like... "oh".
After upgrading my pc what was the first thing I do, play a graphically demanding game? Run Minecraft on 64K resolution? Nah I drew some fucking art of my character lol
Playing around with a slightly different aspect ratio (added 40 pixels to the width): Increases the map size to 13 x 13 tiles (vs 11 x 11 tiles) & allows me to display the party graphically and do stuff like adding animated portraits. #ScreenshotSaturday #SKALD #RPG #IndieGame
This week our Chaplain has chosen an inspirational quote from none other than Judy Garland - very apt given the fact that the biographical drama 'Judy' has recently been released in cinemas #judygarland #thursdaythought #inspirationalquote
1/n Ok #ScienceTwitter and #TaxonomyTwitter. Back me up here cuz I can’t @ Pokémon being lumpers. These two are clearly different species.
- Galar and Kanto (allopatric populations)
- Geographical disjunction (no interbreeding)
- distinct morphological and typing difference
@SAStudioADHD This is an interesting variant of the #artshare, thanks!
This piece below is my experiment in combining cartoony elements with J. C. Leyendecker's style and colours. Added a graphical element a la Rockwell there as well!
Today is World Animal Day!
Bids are now open for Explorers Against Extinction wildlife auction ‘Sketch For Survival 2019’. My watercolour Indian Sloth Bear is touring the show and will be exhibited at London's Royal Geographical Society in November.

Cartoon portrait of artist and writer William Morris, who left this "earthly paradise" 123 years ago #onthisday. More caricatures of leading (male!) 19th-century figures featured in Cartoon Portraits and Biographical Sketches of Men of the Day (1873): https://t.co/OqsHCIBeYv
