Did this painting a while back in remembrance of the Spanish civil war and the Republicans/Anarchists/Popular Front who fought and lost against Franco. Amazingly, the woman who bought the painting actually had a grandmother who wore the red scarf when she served in the militia.

I saw "Ride Your Wave" by Masaaki Yuasa at my local cinema!
And what a film it was, emotional, hard-hitting and beautiful at the same time. It's a story about grief, remembrance and closure, and I cried several times and it was more than worth it :'3
