I just made a quick colored sketch trying to color in the adventure style. The pose is referencing the "sayonara Shadow" pose in the end credit. of SA2. I gotta say that the ending of SA2 is one of the few endings in sonic games that hit differently.

023: I'll be honest, I don't remember what building or temple I was referencing. It's likely off some photo I saw from somewhere in Malaysia or Southeast Asia. In retrospect, I think I could have cleaned up the shadows if I wasn't working so fast. But the hazy humid feel is right

Just to clarify, I do like the new Eternal Moon Article design! It symbolises how Usagi has always borrowed her friends’ powers to make them all stronger. Plus, the gold also recalls the design of the first brooch, which I believe Galaxia’s brooch is definitely referencing! (6/8)

colors are great and it's certainly serviceable! i think perhaps you should focus on the poses before adding more frames? i think the sprite work/ animation from the scott pilgrim game is really good, i remember referencing it often when i was first starting out

I love doing these "reimagines" of my fav artists work with the live action counterpart of the character as an homage, but I've always used their work ONLY as reference.
