It was cool when we were using it for fun or to make drawing references, but AI art can't replace artists.
I did a drawing of Akira purely to cheese with it on Midjourney AI. I can't resist playing with AI since Akira is literally an AI character. Let's see if the machine can replace me!!!

For me as an artist, fashion is something alive. Styles and trends replace and repeat each other permanently, rethought by the new generations. it's obvious that the future materials, new shapes and colors will be inseparably linked with artificial intelligence technology

For the young artists, hang in there! AI art is scary, but I'm certain it won't replace your training. There are plenty of jobs that need intentional visual design, and that will not change as long as humans are the drivers of economy.
AI Art is not here to replace artists, expressing ourselves through paintings and images is something humans do since the beggining of our history.

The reason behind the latest artwork (right) I made is to replace the old one (left). Why? well, I noticed that the old one looks more loli and I wanted to avoid any eventual troubles. I can't do much for the character sprites tho 😑
