I gave the free demo on Steam a try and while it -feels- like Genshin Impact, there's enough there to make it a lot more interesting.

The O in Otake may have an Ō accent, not 100% sure. Speaking of names, Ranka appears to break the pattern where every character has a K and/or S at the beginning of their name. Unless you want to go crazy and start linking up the Ys and Rs as well with Lisa's kanji spelling.

54) Ys Seven

Probably my least favorite entry in the series of those I've played... Just didn't care much about the story, the music wasn't all that remarkable and the gameplay felt very unrefined. It drags on for too long and just didn't really feel engaging to me.

Just finished playing through Ys IX: Monstrum Nox and while I thought it was overall good I can see the engine and gameplay cracks showing as it's a bit rough it many areas. I did like the character designs even if the NPCs are a bit lacking even in anime game terms.
