Metal Slug (Arcade, 1996)

This game is a very fun alternative to Contra. It's absolutely beautiful graphics are complemented by it's super fun gameplay and it's jamming soundtrack. It's only flaws are it's rapid frame drops and difficulty spike. 8.5/10.

Binge watched Darwin’s Game this weekend and it far exceeded my expectations. It was a damn good show. Cool power system/fights, likeable characters, good animation, interesting plot. It had its flaws but overall it’s underrated. Probably an 8/10 in my book.
