Since I'm a fine art nerd, remember Gustave Dore did art for Paradise Lost, his art for Puss in Boots is the basis for SMT's Cait Sith

Designed a new OC for my necromancer Florentin's love interest/bodyguard. His name's Gustave! They grew up close "friends" because they were the sickly children of rich, magical families. When Florentin was learning how to dissect and sew together body parts, he used Gustave.

Chatting over a game of Magic, I mentioned to Brandon that I've always wanted to illustrate an epic saga in the tradition of Gustave Dore, with highly detailed woodcut-style scenes in ink. I was floored and thrilled with his reply: "Then let's do that!" https://t.co/rvYkINPR7F
