Based on soldiers and hallucinogenic frogs. Basic stage stands out with bright colors. 1st stage adjusts its colors to not stand out. 2nd stage turns camouflage with a 1000 yard stare, and actually “shoots from the hip”. It’s venom causes you to experience war-like PTSD.

Ended up using an entire roll of washi tape to treat Teal's injury because we couldn't find micropores in time. Also had to use an entire yard of ribbon to make his cast.
I'm getting used to treating his injuries but I really wish he stays away from trouble. We had to leash him.

Things that I miss from anime conventions: “casual” cosplays you constructed that day with a wig you borrowed from a friend.

And the only thing you do is hang out at the Yard House.

Chestwester Locals (120/?)
Mr. Blathers is the crankiest old man in the neighborhood. He’s a retired veteran and just wants some peace and quiet, but his area just won’t allow that to happen. He also confiscates anything that lands in his yard, to the dismay of Ted and others.

As we kick off November, all signs continue to point towards a stretch of a week or more of temperatures in the middle to upper 60s and sunshine locally. Yard work procrastinators like myself rejoice! May make a run at 70° a few days!!

I wonder if it looks interesting, broken into panels like this. Sakai combined the Rinpa school's abstraction with Western realism. I wish I knew more about this. There's a stand of gnarled persimmon trees in a yard not too far away from the dentist's office. I doubt he saw them.

Just like last year, we plan to leave our yard "ugly" by not treating fallen leaves as "waste". We have a compost enclosure but it gets filled rather quickly. It's a waste of time & energy to clear the leaves that wildlife depends on for their survival. Please consider joining us.

Day 20 is Pokeweed! I loved reading about how the young leaves are edible and savored in the US South! I have lots of pokeweed in my yard and will not be sampling it.
