I don't think the 2016 one is super bad but it's definitely me trying too hard to be "realistic" and not doing a very good job hahaha. The way I draw now (even quickly, like here) is much cleaner and less uncanny valley, IMO 🤣 His name is lost to time, sadly.

I tried using cleaner lines to imitate the source art but I'm kinda unhappy with that. Will probably redo the lines and switch to either textured pen or vent art mode later

i also . really like alice's talksprites, despite how busy her design looks, in some places

it's even more nostalgic to see the early brave frontier artstyle used in this ,,, a lot softer, cleaner and somewhat more mysterious
