I find it's a useful tool for inspiration and composition ideas. I absolutely suck at hairstyles from scratch and it's been helping me with that process where my previous (and fairly limited) method was character creators in games.

I never sign my finished pieces. I feel that it breaks the forth wall and I want to keep the viewer in that world. I do however sign my sketches. I feel it adds a nice touch and I can play with the composition.

Not all compositions work. This character really hates clothes, anything I tried looked goofy so had to go with the ones that cover the least and even those I had to half draw on (goofy) but hey at least she's not naked copege

And yes bowtie counts as an outfit.

this piece was actually a redo of two other pieces which are about 2 years old now! i feel like ive learned so much since those pieces and it felt appropriate to redraw them. the color composition is completely different but it was fun experimenting with something new
